Here's a set of Google Earth placemarks illustrating Edward Taylor's life.
The set includes Sketchley, Leicestershire, England, where Taylor was born; Bagworth, England, where Taylor worked as a teacher until his opposition to the 1662 Act of Uniformity cost him his job; Harvard, where Taylor attended between 1668 and 1671; and Mechanic Street Cemetery, in Westfield, not far from his church and the place of his birth. His famous tombstone, which you can presently see at Harvardsquarelibrary.org, reads:
Here Rests ye Body of ye Revd. Mr. Edward Taylor the Aged Venerable Learned & Pious Pastor of ye Church of Christ in this Town who after He had Served God and his Generation Faithfully For Many Years fell asleep . . .
In this case, the "ye"s, represented as an "e" directly above or on top of a "y" (see picture), are abbreviations for "the".
